This problem happened to me also when I
was trying to install new version because I wanted to play Minecraft Windows 10
Edition but, it just crashes when I connect my gamepad, I searchee everywhere
on internet, GitHub, stackoverflow and YouTube but I didn’t found any solution,
then I tried my own way and guess what it worked and it just has a simple
solution.
If this works for you too then please give
me a comment.
x360ce.exe crashes mainly because of
your gamepad driver interruption, to fix this out make sure your official gamepad
driver is uninstalled then give it a try.
To uninstall
1.
2. Select uninstall a software and
then just chose your driver and simply uninstall it
Now, open x360ce.exe does it still
crashes then try run as administration or new version.
1. Select Issues tab and click install until it
shows this
2. Select either
Controller 1 or Controller 2 or 3 or 4
3. Now select “Add…” option (Do not confuse with
Add Game)
4. First connect
and then select your controller and press “Add Selected Device”
5. Then simply key map your controller (Try key
mapping below image)
and done
just try your game out.
Why to use
this version only?
This version
converts your gamepad to Xbox controller and all games detected your gamepad as
Xbox controller automatically even, UWP apps (Universal Windows Applications)
like Minecraft for Windows 10 Edition, Asphalt 09, any game in either windows
app store or steam this works.
